Rashid Latif, Shoaib Akhtar says Afridi was much better test cricketer

Former cricketers Rashid Latif and Shoaib Akhtar said that former captain of Pakistani cricket team Shahid Khan Afridi was suitable for Test cricket.

According to the details, while talking to a national channel both cricketer said that Afridi should have given more time to the test cricket.

The fastest bowler Shoaib Akhtar said that he has told Afridi that he is much better Test player as compared to ODIs.

Akhtar further said, I have always believed that Afridi was a much better bowler than a batsman.

Rashid Latif said, we also advised him against quitting Test cricket but he had made up his mind about focusing on T20s and ODIs.

Afridi had announced his retirement in 2005 and 2010 but both times he returned for the series against England and Australia.
