DG ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations) General Babar Iftikhar said that on May 28, 1998, Pakistan successfully proved its nuclear capability to the world.

Sending a message on the occasion of Yom Takbir, in a tweet from the official account of DG ISPR, Major General Babar Iftikhar said that today, in 1998, Pakistan had successfully proved its nuclear capability to the world.

Maj. Gen. Babar Iftikhar said that the Armed Forces salutes all the characters from the concept of a nuclear program to reality, especially scientists and engineers.

On 28 May 1998 Pak successfully established credible min nuclear deterrence & restored balance of power in the region. AFs salute all those involved from conceptualisation to actualisation especially scientists & engineers who made this possible. Long Live Pakistan. #YoumeTakbeer
