Google Translate is amongst the best free online tools to translate languages instantly, whether offline or online. This language translation application simply works and does the required task without any problem. Good thing about Google translate is that the translations are mostly accurate.

English to Urdu translation is also available in this application and now the feature of voice translation has also been added from either language. The new update also enables you to take a picture or use your camera to translate any text in Engl to Urdu instantly.

English to Urdu Image Translation

As the image below shows, currently it is not possible to take an image of Urdu text and translate it to English. However English to Urdu image translation support is available while support for other languages also being added slowly.

To use the feature of image translation make sure you are on the updated version of the translate app. You can update your app from Google Playstore.

Open the app and select to translate from English to Urdu and click the Camera button.

Live translation of the text still looks a little broken and the translated Urdu text looks like it is in reverse and it is difficult to make sense of what’s written. Google is aware of the issue and allows you to reverse the order of the words to make it look better.

This helps translation easier to understand. For better translation experience, we recommend that you take a picture first and then translate it using the application.
