The social networking site Twitter has called two of US President Donald Trump’s tweets “unverified” and said he made false claims.

According to the details, Donald Trump said in his tweets without any evidence that voting by mail would lead to fraud and “rigged election”.

Twitter provided a link to the bottom of Trump’s tweets that read, “Find out the facts about the mail in the ballots,” and users had to point out that these claims were false, citing media reports.

“Trump falsely claimed that mail-in ballots would pave the way for electoral fraud,” the notice said.

“Fact reviewers say mail-in ballots have nothing to do with voting fraud,” Twitter said.

According to the notice, Donald Trump’s false tweets are aimed at misleading voters from California, while only registered voters can choose to mail ballots.

The US president’s statement said citizens who are worried about the dangers of the coronavirus are flocking to the polling stations to cast their ballots, and that the prospects for Trump’s re-election are bright.

The San Francisco-based social networking site says Trump’s tweets violate Twitter’s recently expanded policy.

“Our goal is to make it easier for users to access authenticated news on Twitter for the betterment of users,” said Joel Roth, a senior Twitter official, and Nick Peckles, director of global public policy.

“The purpose of this policy is to prevent the spread of harmful and misleading documents,” he said.

Trump’s Democratic presidential challenger, Joe Biden, told CNN in an interview that Twitter and other social media platforms should make it clear that “this is not true.”

Donald Trump dismissed the notice, calling Twitter biased.”Twitter is now interfering in the 2020 presidential election,” he said.

“They are dismissing my statement that the mail-in ballots pave the way for corruption and fraud, based on the facts of the news, CNN and the Washington Post,” he said on Twitter. ‘

“Twitter is completely suppressing freedom of expression and I will not allow that as president,” he said.
