Turkey helped 80 countries to fight against coronavirus

Turkish vice president said that Turkey has provided medical aid to 80 countries to combat the coronavirus.

While giving an interview to an online channel, vice president Fuat Oktay said that the country had helped 80 countries that have asked us to help.

It is to be noted that 146,457 people have been infected by coronavirus in Turkey and 4,055 patients lost their lives while 106,133 cases have been recovered in the country. The country is now slowly lifting the lockdown.

Fuat Oktay said that mostly face masks, gloves and ventilators were demanded from the countries.

The first coronavirus case was found in Wuhan, China and till now 82,933 people have been infected in China.

The coronavirus pandemic has killed more than 306,375  people around the planet with more than 4.5 million confirmed cases.

Earlier, Turkey has also sent 20K N95 masks and 18.5K PPE/gown to Pakistan.
