A blast took place at a hotel in the area of ​​Cantt police station in Rawalpindi in which several people were injured.

According to details, a man was killed and several others were injured in an explosion at a hotel in the area of ​​Cantt police station in Rawalpindi. They were rushed to a hospital for medical treatment.

Spokesman of Rawalpindi police said, the explosives were planted in a motorcycle. Police rushed to the spot with a heavy contingent.

A spokesman of Rescue said, Rescue 1122 personnel were conducting rescue operations on the spot. One person identified as Arif was killed and 13 others were injured in the blast, including three children.

Earlier, a gas explosion took place at a boys’ hostel on Farooq Azam Road in Rawalpindi. Five students were injured in the blast.

Rescue teams said, the bomber struck shortly after noon in a boys’ room on the second floor of a building.
