A high level security meeting was held at Rangers Headquarters under the chairmanship of DG Rangers Sindh Major General Umar Ahmed Bukhari.

The meeting was attended by Additional IG Karachi, Commissioner Karachi, Additional IGPCTD, and Additional IGP Special Branch.

Senior DG IBs, DIGs (East, South, West, CTD, CIA and Traffic), police, Rangers and senior intelligence officials were also present in the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the recent terrorist activities in Karachi and interior Sindh and decided to take steps for further improvement.

It was decided at the meeting that in the light of the orders issued by the provincial government, observance of laws and code of conduct would be ensured while all possible steps would be taken to ensure law and order situation in the city.

The DG Rangers and other participants of the meeting praised the role of soldiers of all forces in the recent terrorist attack and paid tributes to the martyred and injured Rangers, police, security personnel and civilians.

The participants said that the nation values ​​their sacrifices and our future generations are also grateful to them. The people are urged to abide by the laws to maintain law and order in the province.
