Emirates Airline has suspended air operations to Pakistan for 10 days and the last flight will leave Karachi for Dubai shortly.

According to the details, Emirates Airline of the United Arab Emirates has suspended its flights to Pakistan from June 23 to July 3.

The reason of the suspension occurred when 26 passengers on the Emirates flight to Hong Kong tested positive for Covid-19.

The passengers arrived aboard the Emirates Boeing 777-300ER, flying from Dubai as flight number 380. While all of the infected passengers had traveled from Pakistan, they did  not seem to have seat together. From rows 18 to 44 they were scattered across the cabin.

The airline has suspended flights from Pakistan just after two weeks of flights resumption.

The Pakistani government has stipulated that coronavirus SOPs must be followed by airlines.

The government has further made it mandatory for all the passengers to have COVID-19 testing and whoever tests positive for the virus has to be shifted to the quarantine facility.
