Yet again, Media Firon Azhar Abbas’s channel Geo News violated Pakistan’s constitution. Under the Government of Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the second amendment of the Constitution of Pakistan declared that Ahmadis (Qadianis) are non-Muslims on September 7, 1974.

Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan’s (TLP) assembly member Sarwat Fatima filed a resolution against Geo News in Sindh Assembly. According to her, Geo News, being Media Firon’s channel, preached Qadianiat in their morning show. She urged the government to ban the channel.

She said,

“I appeal to Pakistan’s government to take strict action against those who disobey Islam and Pakistan’s constitution either a person or a media channel.”

Favoring Sarwat Fatima, Nasir Hussain Shah said,

“Whoever is working for qadianis, strict action will be taken against them.”

This is not the first time when Azhar Abbas’s channel did something anti-Islam. In 2014, the media Firon’s channel was accused of many cases including blasphemy but Firon somehow managed to escape from the law, perhaps not this time.
