IG Sindh Mushtaq Ahmed Mehr announced a reward of Rs 2 million for the personnel who thwarted the terror attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

According to the details, IG Sindh Mushtaq Ahmed Mehr, while praising the police for their excellent performance, announced a reward of Rs 2 million for the personnel who fought the terrorists who attacked the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

IG Sindh said that the terrorists were first confronted by the soldiers of Rapid Response Force. The officer was martyred but he continued to fight.

Mushtaq Ahmed Mehr said that the terrorists were killed at the main entrance and they could not enter the building. A police officer and 3 security guards were martyred outside, 3 policemen, 3 security guards and a civilian were also injured outside.

Note that the terrorist attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange, the main trading centre of Karachi, was foiled today. Four armed terrorists were killed in the timely response of security guards and police while one sub-inspector, four security guards and a civilian were martyred in the firing and grenade attack.

For two hours after the terrorists were killed, security forces conducted a search and clearance operation and cleared the building, while the banned group BLA claimed responsibility for the attack.

Later, Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the attack on the Karachi Stock Exchange and said that the entire nation was proud of the brave policemen who foiled the attack with timely action.
