Paris Fashion Week to start in September

The organizers on Wednesday said the Paris Women Fashion Week will be starting from September. 

Comply with the recommendations of the authorities on the coronavirus, the French Haute Couture and Fashion Federation said the fashion show will kick-off between September 28 and October 6.

As several countries relax their lockdowns and social distancing rules, brands and organizers are grappling with the issue of whether — and how — they can permit physical fashion shows in a world still dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.

The pandemic has turned the fashion calendar upside down, with fashion shows being held online next month for Paris men and haute couture men.

With fashionistas deprived of runway shows since March, it is expected that thousands will descend to the French capital to see the 2021 collections from spring-summer.
