An important meeting of the Federal Cabinet will be chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan on tomorrow (Jul 1).

According to details, in view of the increasing cases of coronavirus, the federal cabinet meeting will be held at 12 noon tomorrow at the Prime Minister’s House.

The meeting will consider party affairs including the situation of Coronavirus while considering the economic and political situation of the country and it will be decided to give the administrative control of Marghazar Zoo to the Ministry of Climate Change.

A 12-point agenda was issued in the cabinet meeting while the issue of issuance of prohibited arms licenses by the Interior Ministry has been included in the agenda.

Sources said that the decision to increase the pension of EOBI pensioners will be taken by the cabinet while the Federal Medical Teaching Institute will brief the National Health Reforms Task Force.

Sources also said that the issue of change in the policy on education and health use of the urban population of abandoned waqf properties has been included in the agenda while the appointment of MD of Pakistan Software Export Board has also been included in the agenda.

The sources further said that ratification of the decisions of ECC and Cabinet Energy Committees while approval of auditors of SECP for the financial year 2020 and revision of guidelines for achieving Sustainable Development Goals have also been included in the agenda. ۔
