Sindh CM Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that there are more cases in Karachi than we thought.

Syed Murad Ali Shah in his statement regarding the situation of Coronavirus directed the people to understand the situation.

The Chief Minister Sindh said that 30% result of the tests is coming positive which is the highest in the world, if the people still do not understand the situation then the situation will get very bad.

Murad Ali Shah appealed to the people to follow the SOPs and stay at home at least in the month of June.

He further said that 10088 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours out of which 3,038 new cases have come to light. Out of these cases 2,145 have appeared in Karachi.

The Sindh Chief Minister said that 38 more patients have died in the last 24 hours after which the number of deaths due to COVID-19 has risen to 776.

Murad Ali Shah said that the condition of 636 patients is critical at present out of which 79 patients of Coronavirus are on ventilators.

He said that at present a total of 24005 patients are undergoing treatment out of which 22324 patients are undergoing treatment at home and 60 in quarantine centers while 1,121 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.

The Chief Minister Sindh said that today 1040 patients have recovered after which the number of those who have recovered has reached 22047.

Murad Ali Shah said that so far 265705 tests have been conducted in the province in which 46828 cases have come to light.

He said that according to experts, if the SOPs were not implemented, there would be 300,000 cases by June 30.
