Sindh Assembly member Saeed Afridi has been attacked by unknown assailants in Karachi.

According to the details, the attack on the Sindh Assembly member took place in Pathan Colony site area while Saeed Afridi was present in his constituency along with the workers.

Regarding the firing, Sindh Assembly member Saeed Afridi said that they were fired upon and stoned by unknown attackers.

Saeed Afridi further said that the incident of firing took place in the presence of the police and as a result of this our workers were injured.

Earlier on June 22, Unidentified attackers opened fire outside the house of MQM Sindh Assembly member Sadaqat Hussain.

Firing has been reported outside the MPA’s house in Orangi Town.

MQM leader Faisal Subzwari wrote on his official Twitter, “MPA Sadaqat Hussain narrowly escaped an attack outside his residence in Orangi Town #Karachi. MPA’s brother & brother in law received bullet injuries.”

He also demanded the security for MQM’s representatives, he said that MQM Pakistan has been demanding proper security for our public Representatives.

At first look, the incident seems to be a robbery but police are investigating the case.

The sources also said that Sadaqat Hussain’s two brothers-in-law were injured in the firing.

It is to be noted that Sadaqat Hussain was elected from PS-117 in the general election of 2018.

Sadaqat Hussain was standing outside his house with his brother and brother-in-law.
