Christine Lagarde, head of the European Central Bank (ECB), praised the women leaders, saying they were doing a better job in the Coronavirus crisis.

According to the details, in an interview with the Washington Post, Christine Lagarde said that in countries where women are leaders, policies and coordination are excellent.

She said that she was completely neutral on this issue she is not thinking like a banker at this crucial juncture, but she has learned that women did a better job in a pandemic situation.

The first female head of the ECB specially named German Chancellor Angela Merkel and praised her.

She said that Angela Merkel’s scientific approach was an example of honest and transparent information on the coronavirus.

Referring to Angela Merkel, she said that the rate of cases prepared citizens to recognize the importance of wearing masks, social distance and safety measures.

Christine Lagarde said that the female rulers of Taiwan, Belgium and New Zealand also changed the course of the situation with clear and strong proposals.

It should be noted that Germany has taken more effective measures against the coronavirus than other European countries, while Taiwan and New Zealand are also among the countries that have adopted a successful strategy against the coronavirus pandemic.

On the other hand, observers say that countries headed by men, such as Donald Trump of the United States, Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson, are having difficulty controlling the coronavirus in their countries.

Lagarde, a 64-year-old former French finance minister, said leadership was responsible and accountable.

In her interview, she said that it also depends on the sense of responsibility. She thinks the female leadership is fulfilling this aspect in the best possible way and the viewers and voters automatically appreciate it.
