Shortly after the government’s press conference, the price of flour increased dramatically.

According to details, flour mill owners have increased the price of flour by Rs 6 per kg.

After an increase of Rs. 6 in flour, a 10 kg sack of flour number became Rs. 545 while a 10 kg sack of flour became Rs. 620.

The increase in the price of flour increased the price of wheat by Rs. 4 per kg, after which the price of wheat reached Rs. 48 per kg.

It may be recalled that an important meeting on wheat was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah yesterday in which Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had issued a directive to control flour prices in the province.

The meeting was attended by Provincial Minister for Food Hari Ram, Provincial Minister for Agriculture Ismail Rahu and Secretary Food Laiq Ahmed Omid and other senior officials.

The Sindh Chief Minister had said that the price should be controlled in any case. Strict measures have been taken against hoarding. The Sindh government had banned the movement of wheat across the province.
