Irfan Junejo knows social influencers who have harassed women

Social media influencer and Vlogger Irfan Junejo recently told via Twitter that he knew social influencers who had sexually harassed women in the past.

Taking to his Twitter account, Junejo wrote in a series of tweet,

“I personally know a few women who were harassed or assaulted by a few influencers. Told this to the whole community and nobody did anything. They are still friends with them, they hang out with them, “collab” with them, even after MULTIPLE women accused them.”

He explained why he did not take any action against the harassers as the victims were afraid of defamation.

“I didn’t do anything either, because the victims feared defamation notices and so did I. You can’t really prove how somebody groped you in your uni. The least I could do was distance myself from all of them. That’s the ONLY option I had even after having thousands of followers.”

Junejo added,

“Now imagine what a woman goes through when somebody “influential” harasses her. If you want her to go to the authorities, tell me one case where that helped. Either every harassment victim that has ever come forward is lying or there’s a very convenient loophole there.”

Last year, Junejo unfolded the case of another vlogger Ukhano in a tweet, which he later deleted.

“No person should be able to abuse their powers of influence. I feel deeply for the victims of these actions and hope that they get heard with integrity.”
