The government promoted one Air Officer and 10 Air Commodore officers of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).

According to a statement issued by the spokesperson of Pakistan Air Force, one Air Officer was promoted to the rank of Air Marshal while 10 Air Commodores were promoted to the rank of Air Marshal.

The statement said that Air Vice-Marshal Amir Masood has been posted as Air Marshal.

It was also informed that the officers promoted from the GDP branch include Air Vice Marshal Amir Rashid, Air Vice Marshal Syed Fawad Masood Hatami and Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Jamal Arshad.

A spokesman for the Pakistan Air Force said that the promoted Air Vice-Marshal Zafar Islam, Air Marshal Muhammad Sarfraz, Air Marshal Kazim Hammad and Air Marshal Shakeel Ghazanfar also belong to the GDP branch.

In addition, Air Marshal Irfan Zaheer, Air Marshal Asif Maqsood and Air Marshal Muhammad Amir Hayat from the engineering branch are also among the promoters.
