ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz has accused PML-N and PPP of destroying the state institutions and said that PML-N and PPP have been reaping political benefits by making political recruitments and now they are showing concerns.

Talking to media, Shibli Faraz said that PIA and Pakistan Steel Mills were heavily politically recruited institutions, due to which PIA and Pakistan Steel Mills are in bad condition. The previous governments did not provide jobs but sold them.

He said that the opposition was united not for the sake of the country but to avoid accountability and to cover up the wrongdoings committed during their tenure.

The Federal Minister said that in order to improve the institution, the government of Pakistan would ensure verification of the degrees of all pilots. The licenses of our pilots who are flying are clear, and action would be taken against the pilots with fake degrees without any discrimination.

Shibli Faraz said that minus one is an invention of the minds of the opposition, all the allies are standing behind Imran Khan, members of the opposition are demanding accountability for 20 months after ruling for 20 years.

“There is a need for the opposition to apologize for their sins and bring back the wealth they have taken out of the country because the country needs financial resources because of the coronavirus,” he said.

Shibli Faraz said that after the plane crash in Karachi, the government had decided to review the education and qualifications of all other staff, including pilots of public and private airlines, and their licenses and the review report pointed out some issues in the affairs of the Civil Aviation Authority.

Note that on May 22, a PIA flight from Lahore to Karachi crashed into a residential area just a few hundred meters from the runway, killing 97 people, including eight crew members. While 2 passengers were miraculously safe.
