The Sindh Government rejected the allegations of Federal Minister for Shipping and Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi concerning differences in investigation report of Uzair Baloch which was made public by Sindh Government on Monday (July 6, 2020).

Sindh Government Spokesperson Murtaza Wahab said while addressing a press conference, “we promised to public the JIT report and have done exactly that.”

Murtaza said that the Sindh government showed the documents with all the signatures, adding that JITs, which consist of one head and several members, were formed on the directives issued by the sindh government.

He questioned, if a document does not have all the signatures, where did it come from, who gave it to them?

Earlier, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi has revealed that the Sindh government meddled with Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report on Lyari gang war kingpin Uzair Baloch to exclude certain names.

Ali Zaidi has appealed Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Gulzar Ahmed to take suo motu notice of Uzair Baloch Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report.

He said the JIT report did not have important information and said that it has been ‘tampered’ by the Sindh government.

There is a difference between these two reports. The Sindh government report is based on 35 pages, the original report is 43 pages, he added.
