Finland’s Prime Minister Sanna Marin has entered the new phase of her life as she got married to her long-time partner, eight months after becoming the Prime Minister.

Sanna shared the news on her Instagram. She said that she got married to Markus Raikkonen on Saturday. She also posted a photo of the couple wearing elegant wedding dresses with white flowers.

The wedding took place at Kesaranta, the prime minister’s official residence, according to the Finland government. The couple’s family and closest friends attended the wedding.

The government mentioned on its website that the couple had been together for 16 years and have a 2 1/2-year-old daughter.

Sanna Marin is a social democrat. She became the Prime Minister in December. She became the youngest service head of government in the world.
