According to ISPR, rains in Dadu have damaged Nai Gaj Dam, but 12 districts of Dadu have been badly affected by the breach of flood protection dams.

ISPR said that Pakistan Army troops have reached the affected areas of Dadu to help the people trapped in the floods. Army engineers and medical teams along with motor boats are also involved in the flood relief and rescue operation.

ISPR said Army medical teams were providing relief to the victims.

It is to noted that Pakistan Army started relief operation after fourth spell of monsoon rains hit Karachi on Friday as a result the city’s drainage system fell flat against the challenge and the metropolitan city delved into chaos.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan Army has started relief operation in rain-hit Karachi.

Army’s rescue teams along with de-watering pumps and other necessary equipment have started draining out water accumulated in low-lying areas of the metropolis.
