PDMA issues alert for heavy rain in Karachi during next 48 hours

On Sunday, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued an alert for heavy rainfall in many parts of Sindh including Karachi in the next 48 hours.

To cope with the situation of urban flooding in Sindh’s major cities including Karachi and Hyderabad, the PDMA has asked the concerned authorities to finalize the arrangements as soon as possible.

PDMA spokesperson said that cities including Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Shaheed Benzairabad, Dadu, Tharparkar, Sanghar, Sukkur, and Larkana Division will receive heavy rainfall.

Earlier on Saturday, the PMD department had predicted another monsoon spell entered in Karachi and different cities of the Sindh province.
