Shehbaz likely to visit Karachi on Wednesday to open new party office

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president and leader of the opposition in the National Assembly,Shehbaz Sharif, is likely to visit Karachi on what is being said to be a day long visit, on Wednesday.

Various sources have mentioned that the PML-N leader intends to meet with Edhi Foundation chief Faisal Edhi and other political leaders including leaders of the province and the city.

Sharif intends to visit various rain and flood effected area of the port city and meet with the population that has been affected due to the catastrophic rains that hit Karachi.

The opposition leader also intends to inaugurate PML-N’s new office in Nazimabad area of Karachi. He will hold a press conference after which he will leave for Punjab’s capital, Lahore.

The recent spell of heavy showers caused flash floods in various areas of Karachi and citizens found no way out as sewerage lines and drainage systems were blocked.
