A couple committed suicide in the Tehsil Jaranwala of district Faisalabad, media sources reported on Thursday.

According to the details, Shahbaz Masih and Tabeeta got married a year ago and were living in Chak 240, Jaranwala. The couple was living in extreme poverty, and on Thursday decided to take their life.

The couple took their life by taking poisonous pills. The neighbors shifted both the husband and wife to a hospital for medical treatment.

However, the couple breathed their last at Allied Hospital of Faisalabad. The incident sent shock waves among the family and friends of the couple, who became grief-stricken after receiving the death news of the couple.
