Shibli Faraz said that the people of Sindh are in dire straits and as soon as the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) estimates the damages, the federation will help in all possible manner.

This was stated by Federal Minister for Information and Leader Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Shibli Faraz while addressing a press conference here.

Senator Shibli Faraz said that if we talk about the interior of Sindh, we get the impression of political rhetoric. Unfortunately, the situation inside Sindh is worse than in other provinces.

He said that the people of Sindh are in trouble. In this regard, a committee has been formed which will look into the damages in Sindh.

Regarding media arrears, Shibli Faraz said that 1.1 billion arrears of media have been paid and the media houses which have received the money must clear salaries to their employees.

Talking about the pilgrims, the Federal Minister for Information said that a ferry service has been launched for the pilgrims.

He said that the tenure of Aun Abbas, the head of Bait-ul-Mal, has been extended because he has done a great job, so the cabinet paid tribute to him and his tenure has also been extended.

He said that the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority has submitted its annual report which mainly mentions the work and reforms that have been carried out in the energy sector.
