The latest attraction of The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Palm Fountain has set a new world record as the largest fountain ever.

With multicolored lights and jets of water blasting into the sky, the glittery Palm Fountain inaugurated at the Pointe in Dubai and is spread over 14,000 sqft of seawater.

A display that was live-streamed across the globe, the fountain highlights 128 super shooters that hit heights up to 105 meters (344 feet) in stature.

The Palm Fountain was awarded the title of Guinness World Record for being the world’s biggest fountain, taking the crown from South Korea’s Banpo Moonlight Rainbow Fountain.

It will screen dancing water shows set to music for three minutes, playing every 30 minutes. It also features over 3,000 LED lights in multiple colors that light up the sky over the ocean.

During the launch event for the largest fountain, visitors of The Pointe were invited to multiple festivities.

What else was there?

The entertainment included multiple DJs, dance shows, and a spectacular firework show that added beautiful colors in the sky.

The show saw many attendants, from excited residents to tourists, who witnessed The Palm Fountain break the world record.

Moreover, the first 5,000 people to arrive were given a free LED wristband that was part of the launch moment.

The Palm fountain also circulates water from the sea directly without the need for a water tank or filtration equipment.

COVID-19 Health Protocols

The strictest health and safety measures and rules were followed during the show, such as temperature checks.
