Laal Kabootar, a Karachi centered crime thriller, won the 19th Lux Style Award for Best Film.

Ahmed Al Akbar and Mansha Pasha are featured in the action-packed film, which is a collaboration between Geo Films and Nehr Ghar Films.

The film was released on March 22, 2019.

In this film, Ahmed acts as Adeel Nawaz, who was a taxi driver determined to relocate from Karachi to Dubai. Moreover, Masha Pasha played the role of Aliya Malik, who is a confident and brave woman even after facing unexpected events in her life.

Laal Kabootar was selected as Pakistan’s official pick for the Oscars 2020.
