In the Guinness World Records, an intricate floral-shaped ring possessing 12,638 tiny diamonds has won a spot – but its Indian maker has still no intentions to sell his invaluable concept.

The chunky circular band is called “The Marigold – The Ring of Prosperity” and weighs just over 165 grams (5.8 ounces).

It is created by Harish Bansal, the 25-year-old, and while telling about his dream project he says, “It’s wearable and comfortable.”

Bansal also told that he dreamed about this creation while studying jewelry design in the western city of Surat which is also known as the diamond hub of India.

“My target was always more than 10,000 diamonds. I trashed many designs and concepts over the years to finally zero in on this,” Bansal added.

His company claims that the tiny petals in the eight-layer of the ring are exclusive and unique.

Bansal says that he had already declined the offer of potential buyers.

“We have no plans of selling it right now. It’s a matter of pride for us. It’s priceless.,” he continued.

Earlier the record set in the Guinness Book of World Records was of the ring with 7,801 diamonds.
