The local women’s badminton championship in Saudi Arabia ended on Saturday. On the occasion, Manal Asiri, a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Badminton Federation, crowned the winners of the Saudi Women’s Championship and distributed prizes among them in the presence of the Director Sports Affairs at Princess Nora University.

In women’s badminton, Rana Abu Harbash, a member of the national team of Princess Nora Bint Abdul Rahman University, won the first position. National team player Aziza Nazimi was second and Nadine Al-Yahyan was third. Another player, Haya Al-Mudra, also finished third.

In the preliminary round, player Hatun Turkestani won the first position. Hurriya Khoj came second, Nora Al-Farih and Yum Al-Farih came third.

A total of 60 Saudi badminton players competed between different teams. The final of the Women’s Badminton Championship was hosted by Princess Nora University. It was the fourth tournament of its kind in which the Saudi Badminton Federation has resumed the championship after a short hiatus.
