Zoheb Hassan, a Pakistani icon of music, praises Meesha Shafi for singing his sister Nazia Hassan’s cover song.

Shafi’s latest episode of Velo Sound Nation exhilarated the vintage music fans across the country when she sang the cover of Nazia Hassan’s Boom Boom.

The song was composed and voiced by Nazia Hassan for the 1982 Bollywood movie Star. The song became an enormous hit all over South Asia.

Zoheb thanked Velo’s team via his official Facebook account. Moreover, Shafi was pleased to see the message from Zoheb.

Shafi shared the post on her official Instagram handle and wrote, “This means the absolute world to me and all of those who worked on this tribute.”

Ayesha Omer immediately commented and told that she is completely overwhelmed at the success of her friend.
