The management of the Masjid al-Haram, or the Great Mosque of Makkah in Saudi Arabia, said on Tuesday that a specialized team of Saudi men made a new record of cleaning the Holy Kaaba’s roof in just 40 minutes.

The Masjid al-Haram’s management — officially known as the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque said on Twitter that Saudi experts completed the cleaning of the roof of the Holy Kaaba in just 40 minutes, which was “a record”.

Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz al-Sudais, the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques, headed by the Imam-e-Kaaba also shared the photos during the cleaning process on social media.

To continue the process of cleaning the Holy Kaaba, the Saudi-led administration has vowed to perform the duty the same as ever. Moreover, many programs have also been set up for the cleaning of the Holy Kaaba.
