Chinese rendition of Hadiqa Kiani’s ‘Boohey Barian’ storms social media

Who can forget the iconic song ‘Boohey Barian’ originally sung by versatile artist Hadiqa Kiani. However, a recent rendition of the song is making headlines for love from abroad. Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Moin ul Haque shared the video of a Chinese music teacher singing the popular Pakistani folk song Boohey Barian’.

In his tweet he said that Spring festival and New Lunar Year was celebrated with Chinese staff at the Pakistan Embassy International School in Beijing.

On the occasion, the School music teacher sung popular Pakistani folk song “Boohay Barian”.

There have been several instances in past that Chinese singers singing covers of the Pakistani ballads

Moin ul Haque shared earlier a touching tribute by Chinese singers with a delightful performance to ‘Sohni Dharti‘ on Twitter.

In his tweet he said,

“A colourful and heart warming performance by young Chinese children on ‘Sohni Dharti’ song at Qingdao TV to welcome the new Pakistani Ambassador. It really touched my heart.”

Pakistan considers China as one of its closest friend and partner and China considers Pakistan as its “Iron Brother”. The bilateral relationship between the two neighboring countries is characterized by feelings of mutual trust, respect and goodwill towards each other.
