Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb claimed on Saturday that the media trial of opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif was discussed in Prime Minister House.

Addressing media, she claimed that Shehbaz Sharif has challenged that he would quit politics if corruption of a single penny is proved against him; however, no proof of the allegations was presented.

She further alleged that Prime Minister Imran Khan was the facilitator of Daily Mail’s case.

She added that PM’s aide on accountability Shahzad Akbar harassed NAB detainees to get favorable statements from them. PM Imran Khan leveled allegations on others to hide his lootings.

A British court has ruled out that Daily Mail’s report was defamatory as it ruled out in favor of Shehbaz Sharif and his son-in-law Ali Imran in a parliamentary hearing.
