Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has appreciated the efforts of women in various fields of Pakistan.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote that Pakistani women are driving Pakistan forward across all fields of leadership.

“Pakistan’s women are formidable forces, driving the country forward across all fields of leadership. While the road to women empowerment and gender equality is a long one, Pakistan’s direction, commitment and actions are clear.”

In the end, he wished his followers a happy International Women’s Day.
