PSL 2021: PCB to announce the schedule of left over matches in few days

The remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) sixth edition are expected to be held from May 23 till June 20.

As per sources, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in an official statement that, the setting up of a biosecure bubble of United Kingdom (UK) based company in the final stages

PCB is expected to announce the schedule of the remaining matches in the next few days.

PSL is postponed due to the coronavirus because seven players in the league tested positive.

Sources also added that the days reserved for the tournament will include the compulsory quarantine period for the players.

Earlier this month, after the sixth edition of the PSL called off on March 4, the head of the PCB’s medical panel Dr. Sohail Saleem has resigned from his post.

This move came after the rules and regulations in the ‘bio-secure bubble’ were violated and resulted in the postponement of PSL 6.

According to sources, Dr. Sohail has sent his resignation to the PCB chairman Ehsan Mani. “We are considering Dr. Sohail’s resignation request,” PCB said.
