PM Imran strongly rebukes the murder of ATC judge & family

Prime Minister Imran Khan has strongly rebuked the attack on anti-terrorism court (ATC) judge Aftab Afridi, who was killed along with his wife and two children after unknown men opened fire on his vehicle in Swabi.

The premier took to his Twitter and wrote, “Strongly condemn the murder of ATC judge Aftab Afridi, his wife & 2 children at Anbar Interchange, Swabi.”

“The perpetrators of this gruesome act will be apprehended & dealt with the full severity of the law,” PM Imran added.

Note that ATC judge Aftab Afridi’s vehicle was attacked by target killers near Ambar interchange in Swabi.

“Two security guards in the judge’s convoy also sustained wounds in the attack,” police said.

However, the dead bodies and other wounded were taken to a nearby hospital for medical aid and legal formalities.

The security forces and police cordoned off the area and started began investigating from the scene for criminological inquiry.

Moreover, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan rebuked the killing and expressed deep sorrow over the unfortunate incident.

“Targeting women and children is a coward attempt,” he said.

Furthermore, the chief minister has instructed the police to promptly arrest the culprits behind the attack.
