Chris Brown, an American singer, got accused of punching a lady during a fight in Los Angeles on Friday.

A representative for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the story to NBC News on Tuesday, citing a report of an argument at a home in the 19600 block of Citrus Ridge Drive in the San Fernando Valley.

While the incident is being investigated, a charge will be reported to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.

While no further details have been released, according to TMZ, the woman accused the singer of striking her in the head with such force that her hair weave fell out.

However, it’s unclear whether Brown will face charges.

“We have not been referred a case yet in this matter,” read the statement issued from the City Attorney’s Office on Tuesday.
