Pakistan has reopened its border with Afghanistan in Chaman momentarily to allow aground people from both countries to return home.

The decision was taken for people to overpass the border on foot. Hundreds of women, children, and patients were wedged on both sides after the border was shut earlier this week.

Pakistan closed the Friendship Gate indeterminately after Taliban forces claimed they had seized the border passage of Spin Boldak and Wesh area.

According to officials, on Saturday, the government communicated the Afghan Taliban and provisionally unbolted the Chaman Pak-Afghan border for amblers in a “spirit of goodwill”.

Hundreds of trucks encumbered with Afghan transit goods and other items were not permitted to cross the border.
