Prime Minister Imran khan praised the Afghan cricket team for their outstanding progress despite all hardships.

The remarks came from Prime Minister Imran during a Q/A session with Pak-Afghan Youth Forum (PAYF).

Upon the question regarding the promotion of sports in Afghanistan, especially cricket, PM Imran said that no country in history has achieved so much in a short period of time like Afghanistan did.

“The position at which Afghanistan stands at the moment in cricket was realized by other countries in 70 years,” he said.

PM said that the main reason behind the success was that the Afghan refugees in Pakistan learned cricket and he appreciates it.
