Salar Shamas, a musician from Lahore, has been accused of sexual harassment on social media, which he has categorically denied.

Salar Shamas is a Lahore-based musician and a Beaconhouse National University Lahore graduate. Shamas, a songwriter, producer, filmmaker, and entrepreneur, rose to prominence in Pakistan after releasing the song “Ayyy Teray Bin” on SoundCloud.

He is recognized for his record company Shamas-Kaari and for writing Urdu songs in western music genres.

Salar is accused of sexually harassing women and threatening them with his outreach and influential brother, according to a social media platform called ‘Wall of Shame pk‘ on Instagram.

Screen recordings of his discussions with three different victims, one of them a minor, were also attached in the account’s post.

A teen girl, 16, has spoken out about being sexually assaulted at the farmhouse of the rising musician in Lahore.

The 16-year-old girl claimed that Salar allegedly assaulted the 16-year-old girl while drunk and then threatened her with his powerful background.

Salar has refuted the claims against him and responded to the harassment against himself in a live stream, despite the screenshot with his name. He also claimed the screenshots were bogus.

Salar also threatened to take legal action against the account’s admin.

When it comes to Pakistani women coming forward with sexual harassment charges, it usually backfires or is misinterpreted; nevertheless, in this case, there were too many varied emotions; some backed the artist, while the majority chastised him:
