After the COVID-19 forced the Olympics to be postponed by one year, athletes from across the world are now competing in Japan representing their respective countries and hoping to bring accolade for their respective countries.

Here are the countries standings in terms of medal count during the Tokyo Olympics 2021.

The table is sorted by the most gold medals won and also includes silver, bronze, and the total medals till July 28 2021.  If countries have the same number of gold medals, the order is then sorted by which has the most silvers, and finally bronze if the numbers are still similar.
