50,000 scholarships under the Ehsaas program through Higher Education Commission (HEC), Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood.

Shafqat Mahmood announced the scholarships after a meeting of the senate committee on education.

“We will be providing 50,000 scholarships through the Higher Education Commission [HEC] under the Ehsaas program,” stated the minister.

PPP Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar stated that besides growing the number of universities, refining their customary was also essential.

The meeting also approved the establishment of Ibadat International University as a bill for the university has already been passed by the National Assembly.

The university would be training artificial intelligence, biotech, and other subjects also offering scholarships to 15 percent of students, stated Senator Fauzia Rashid.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has declared that 170,000 scholarships for skill development will be bestowed on the youngsters under Kamyab Jawan Program.

The PM stated in a video message for youngsters specifying the Kamyab Jawan business loan and skill development program that “50,000 scholarships will be given for higher technologies”.

The Prime Minister said that the government has reserved Rs100 billion for business loans on the distinction to youngsters who have business plans this year and would upsurge the budget every year.

“This will help the youngsters in becoming self-sufficient,” Imran Khan.

PM Imran Khan further added that authorizing the youth will support in leading the country towards the path of prosperity.
