Almost 4 dead, 7 injured in NE China’s building collapse incident

HARBIN – At least four people were killed and seven others sustained injuries after the top floor of an office building in Harbin City, capital of northeast China‘s Heilongjiang Province, collapsed on Sunday afternoon, said the local authorities on Monday.

The accident took place around 3:10 pm when the topmost floor of the building which is the seventh floor, collapsed while workers were carrying out waterproofing work.

Nearly 11 people were trapped under the rubble.

The injured are being treated in the hospital.

The building belongs to a local investment company. Further investigation into the accident is underway.  (Xinhua)
