KARACHI: On Sunday, the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK)  cleared up that the matriculation and ninth-grade results had not been announced, as students began looking for the following rumors on social media that the results had been released.

The BSEK spokeswoman told that preparations for the matriculation and ninth-grade results were underway, and that rumours on social media that the board was about to release the results were false.

“The board will announce the results on its official website, students should not pay attention to the fake news circulating on social media,” the spokesperson said.

The spokeswoman has said that the legal actions will be taken against websites stating that the board has announced results for both grades.
