ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of China to Pakistan Nong Rong has congratulated Khalid Mansoor on becoming the special assistant to the prime minister on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Affairs.

In a tweet, the Chinese ambassador said: “Congratulations to Khalid Mansoor and look forward to jointly promoting CPEC with high quality development.”

He also paid special tributes to Lt Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa (Retd) for his contribution in advancingthe China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.

“Our cooperation will be valued, friendship cherished, and efforts recognised”, he added.
