Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi stated that the Taliban should not recap their past mistakes in an interview with the private news channel.

Qureshi said that Pakistan would never want the forbidden group to act as they did previously in the nineties.

He further added that Pakistan will contact the country within a few days.

He said that the Taliban should contrivance the strategies which they claim to announce, given that the world is closely observing them.

Whereas, He stated that Pakistan takes an exceptional interest in Afghan affairs, but in the end, its people have to adopt.

Qureshi emphasized that Afghanistan’s national interest should be the first predilection of the Taliban and other parties involved.

The minister said that the uprising group has altered its strategies.

On the contrary, Qureshi claimed that “they must act differently as people want peace”.

Furthermore talking about the meeting between Prime Minister Khan and the Afghan delegation, Qureshi claimed that the two parties want constancy in the country.
