KARACHI: The FPCCI (Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry) on Tuesday expressed unflinching and resolute support and solidarity with the brothers and sisters in the Illegally Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), who are under an unprecedentedly horrific and inhuman siege in the history of the mankind for an enormously long period of 730 days now, a statement said.

In a statement, Mian Nasser Hyatt Maggo, president of the FPCCI, said that the international community should do more and isolate India until and unless it ends the barbaric siege of Kashmiris and effectively stops illegitimate relocations and resettlements in the Illegally Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, aimed at changing the very demographics of the region.

The FPCCI will passionately commemorate Yaum-e-Istehsal to create awareness and make the voice of Kashmir heard loud and clear, domestically and internationally.

“Our message is immediate and total freedom from [the] atrocities and from the siege of the innocent people of Jammu and Kashmir by the cowardly Indian forces,” he said.

Maggo said that Pakistan is fully aware of the heinous efforts for disempowerment and disengagement of Kashmiris from the economic activities and the socio-political lives to make them surrender to the extremist and barbaric agenda of the occupying forces.

“Nonetheless, our Kashmiri brothers and sisters will fight and persevere till the very end of the struggle until and unless Kashmir becomes Pakistan. Insha’Allah!”
