Microsoft Teams will get a new feature that will improve searching functionality. It will be named ‘Top Hits”, and it will help users get relevant related results while searching.
According to an entry in the Microsoft 365 Cloud PC service roadmap, the Top Hits will automatically suggest relevant results across, chats, files, people, and other content stored or shared in the app.
With the help of this feature, the user can find whatever is required faster than before. All the previous searches will be implemented in the AI-enabled search feature that is already available on Microsoft Teams.
According to reports from Microsoft, the upcoming feature is still under development and is expected to release by the end of September.
Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic started, Microsoft is working harder to bring new features to Microsoft Teams.
These new features include video calls, files sharing, etc. The company has also made it possible for users to log in to a business and personal account at the same time. This feature was rolled out about a month ago.
During the pandemic, Microsoft has also added few other useful features like Reporter mode, Standout mode, and Side-by-side mode.
In all of these modes, the presenter’s background is removed from the presentation and replaced with either the content that will be shown, or a photo of the person delivering that particular chunk of content, or both, depending on the user’s option.
