As per the sources, former Test captain-turned commentator Rameez Raja has shown his willingness to be the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Current PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani has completed his three-year term as the head of the cricket body which is ending on 18th September.

Sources privy to the development told that the Prime Minister of Pakistan ‘Imran Khan’ who is also the patron in chief of the PCB will mention two names to the governing board for the coveted post in the next few days.

Ehsan and Asad Ali Khan are the representatives of Imran Khan in the PCB governing board and as per the reports circulating declared that Rameez will replace Ehsan as the new chairman of the PCB.
